Tämä kesä on koostunut niistä asioista joita todella rakastan. Niitä ei ole kovin montaa. Rakastan olla ulkona, rakastan ystäviäni ja rakastan tätä maailmankolkkaa USA:n luoteiskulmassa. Ja täältä kirjoittelenkin tätä postausta paraikaa. Lensin eilen Seattleen, vietettyäni 12 uskomatonta päivää Alaskan pääkaupungissa. Tämä matka oli monella tapaa yllätyksellinen, kuin pieni palkkio kesän lopussa. En oikeastaan osannut odottaa mitään, mutta lähdin kotoa avoimin mielin, muki tyhjillään. Mukini on nyt täyttynyt äärimmilleen kaikesta hyvästä mitä maailmasta löytyy. Olen niin onnekas, niin onnellinen. Juuri niin kuin pitääkin. Matkaa on vielä pari viikkoa jäljellä. This summer has been all about the things I truly love. It comes down to just a few. I love being outside, I love my friends and I love Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. And that’s exactly where I am while writing this. Yesterday I flew down to Seattle, after spending 12 wondrous days in my beloved Southeast Alaska. This trip was in many ways a surprise, like a treat at the end of the summer. I wasn’t really anticipating much, but I left home with an open mind and an empty cup, which has now filled to the brim with all the goodness in the world.
