Maaliskuu on vasta alkanut ja kesälomamatka on jo varattu ja maksettu. Ehkä se kertoo jotakin innostuksen määrästä, jolla reissuun tällä kertaa lähdetään. Toinen syy on varmaankin se, että amerikkalaiset ovat retkeilyhulluja ja onnistuin tammikuun lopulla nappaamaan haluamillemme päiville viimeiset telttapaikat sekä Grand Canyonilta että Zionista. Toukokuussa lähdemme matkaan Kaliforniasta kohti New Mexicoa, Coloradoa, Utahia ja Wyomingia, josta tullaan Idahon ja Oregonin kautta takaisin. Eli vähän Southwestia ja vähän Pacific Nortwestia tiedossa. Näitä maisemia odotellessa!

March has only begun and we’ve already booked and paid for our summer vacation. Maybe that tells you something about the amount of excitement surrounding this trip. The other reason being, that Americans are crazy about the outdoors and at the end of January I managed to snag the last camping spots for the dates we wanted at both Grand Canyon and Zion. In May we will take off from California towards New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, from where we’ll come back through Idaho and Oregon. So a little bit of Southwest and a bit of the Pacific Northwest. Can’t wait for these views!
